Your responsibilities
We are now looking for a driven buyer who wants to work with the entire purchasing and assortment process with great enthusiasm. The role will involve creating, maintaining, and developing our assortment as part of a team with engaged and driven colleagues. As a buyer, you will use your structured, efficient, and analytical skills to contribute to our new steps towards success. Together with your team, you will be responsible for our garden assortment, where, under the guidance of your Product Manager, you will tackle new exciting challenges daily.

Examples of typical tasks
- You will work daily with documentation, administration, and maintenance of the assortment.
- You will generate statistics and analyze key figures. Your role also includes planning and conducting procurement processes.
- You will visit our stores to handle local challenges on-site and review opportunities and suggestions for improvement.
- Visits and daily contact with suppliers as well as colleagues in our stores.
- You manage the administration regarding store layouts for the assortments within your department and are engaged in how your assortment is displayed in the stores and online. You also have the opportunity to influence the marketing of the assortment.
- Business travel is required, and a valid driver's license (Category B) is mandatory.
Your profile
- You are a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working in a dynamic setting with personal responsibility.
- You preferably have education or work experience in purchasing, economics, or sales/similar work experience.
- You are structured and have the ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel under sometimes high pressure.
- You have good knowledge of MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
- A genuine interest in Excel is highly meritorious as the role involves a lot of work in the program.
- You have a strong interest in gardening/garden design.
- You are meticulous and quality-conscious, placing importance on maintaining a high standard in your work.
- You are not afraid to learn new things and enjoy working in a structured and systematic manner.
- Very good ability to communicate both orally and in writing in English is a requirement for the position.
- Previous experience in the garden or retail sector is meritorious.
- Previous knowledge from working in SAP is meritorious.
- Fluent knowledge of the German language is a requirement for the position.
