Damage Assessment and Customer Reception at Werksta Kungälv – Customer Focus and Quality at the Center
As a Damage Assessor/Customer Receptionist at Werksta Kungälv, you are responsible for receiving damaged vehicles, assessing and calculating the cost of repairs, and maintaining customer contact throughout the entire process. You collaborate closely with bodywork technicians, painters, and service advisors to ensure a smooth and quality-assured repair process, contributing to a safe and clear customer experience.
Job Responsibilities – Customer Contact, Damage Assessment, and Administration
- Receive customers and take in vehicles for damage reporting and inspection
- Perform damage inspections and cost calculations according to current procedures and insurance company requirements
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding the extent of damage, timelines, and costs
- Collaborate with the workshop's technicians to ensure correct actions and delivery times
- Document damages, work orders, and spare parts needs in the workshop system
- Handle contacts with insurance companies and prepare necessary documentation for compensation
- Follow the company's health and safety procedures and contribute to order and structure in customer reception
Requirements & Desired Qualifications
- Experience or education in damage handling, the vehicle damage industry, or equivalent
- Good understanding of vehicle repairs and spare parts management
- Experience with cost calculation and workshop systems is an advantage
- Customer-focused, communicative, and service-oriented
- Structured, meticulous, and solution-oriented
- Category B driver's license is an advantage
- Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are required
