Your new role
We are now looking for a GDPR Coordinator / Data Protection Specialist for an exciting assignment with a leading player in the insurance industry. Here you will have a central role in the organization's continued development within data protection and GDPR, working closely with the business operations to ensure high quality in processes, routines, and compliance.
As a GDPR Coordinator/Data Protection Specialist, you will become a key person in the organization's data protection work. You will be responsible for coordinating and developing GDPR-related processes and ensuring that the business complies with current data protection legislation on several international markets.
You will work both operationally and strategically with data protection issues and serve as an important support to the business in daily work.
In the role, you will among other things:
- Be responsible for handling, coordinating, and communicating data subjects' rights under GDPR for several European markets.
- Handle, document, and report personal data incidents.
- Develop, maintain, and improve routines, process descriptions, and work instructions related to GDPR.
- Act as a support to the organization's data protection function in various data protection-related matters.
- Be responsible for reviewing and quality-assuring the organization's processing registers.
- Ensure that information texts and privacy notices on websites, as well as cookie-related privacy texts, are up-to-date and comply with current regulations.

To be successful in this role, you need:
- Experience working as a data protection specialist, GDPR coordinator, or in a similar role.
- Very good knowledge of GDPR and practical experience in data protection work.
- Experience working with personal data incidents and data subjects' rights.
- Experience in creating and developing processes, routines, and governing documents.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
