Ulricehamn Parish is seeking a Deaconess Assistant for a fixed-term position at 75% for 2 years.

Job Description

Ulricehamn Parish is looking for a staff member for a role primarily focused on home visits and meetings with people at various stages of life. We are looking for someone who is engaged and wishes to meet people based on their needs, offer conversations, and contribute to addressing loneliness and creating community. You will also help build a operation involving volunteers for home visits and meetings for those who cannot reach the church's activities.

Person, Education, and Experience

We are looking for someone who is attentive, empathetic, and feels secure in interactions with others. You have good collaboration skills but can also work independently. You will be part of the parish work team in Ulricehamn and collaborate there with priests, deacons, volunteers, and other staff. You will be involved in the planning and development of the parish's care work. Education and experience in similar work are meritorious.

You are a member of the Church of Sweden and share its faith and values. The position is, according to the Church of Sweden's collective agreement, a fixed-term employment of 75% for two years.

A personal car and a valid B-driver's license are required.
