At our depot in Hagalund, the work of moving and preparing trains takes place every day. We are now looking for a shunter who wants to be part of this work.

About the role

As a shunter, you are responsible for shunting trains and carriages in a safe and efficient manner. You also act as a supervisor during shunting operations and work closely with colleagues in operations and maintenance. If needed, you can also support the business as a train technician.

Responsibilities:

• Shunt trains and carriages according to plan
• Ensure traffic safety in the role of supervisor
• Work in and update vehicle data systems
• Participate in improvement and safety work
• Act as a train technician when required

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Upper secondary education
• Experience from shunting or the railway industry
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Basic computer skills
• Category B driver's license

Scope: Full-time
Start date: As agreed
Working hours: Shift work (3-shift) with a rolling schedule over 7 weeks, no night shifts
Contract: Permanent with a 6-month probation period
