Job responsibilities:

As a service technician, you are responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the company's machinery at customer sites. You have a service van and work based from home, while also planning a large part of your workday yourself. The tasks vary between planned service assignments, installations, and urgent service requests, providing a varied and developmental workday.

You will work in a large geographical area where travel and hotel stays are a natural part of the position. Therefore, we are looking for someone who thrives in a mobile work environment and enjoys being out at customer sites. You will be the face of the company and play an important role in creating good customer relationships through professional service and problem-solving. Your tasks will include among others:

• Service, troubleshooting, and repair of the company's machinery.
• Installation and commissioning at customer sites.
• Preventive maintenance and service assignments.
• Simple work within mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and control systems.
• Programming via the company's service program.
• Digital follow-up and documentation of service assignments.
• Customer contact and technical advice in the field.

We are looking for you who:

Have a technical background and a genuine interest in mechanics and problem-solving. You may have worked as a service technician, mechanic, or within workshops, vehicles, or the contracting industry. If you have education in vehicles, workshops, welding, or automation, it is an advantage, but relevant practical experience can weigh just as heavily.

Experience with electronics, control systems, PLC, hydraulics, or low voltage is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you are curious, want to develop, and find it easy to learn new technology.

The position involves a lot of customer contact, so you must be able to communicate well in Norwegian or Swedish, as well as have basic English skills.

We believe your personal qualities are crucial for you to thrive at Europress. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is independent, takes responsibility for their own work, and enjoys planning their workday. You are flexible and appreciate a varied daily routine. You have a strong technical interest, like solving problems, and have a down-to-earth and positive attitude. Since you represent Europress out at the customers, you are also service-oriented, communicative, and focused on building good relationships.
