Do you want to help shape the next generation of platforms? Toyota Material Handling Europe is looking for an experienced Software Architect to join Auto Solutions within R&D.

In this role, you combine technical leadership with hands-on work throughout the entire product lifecycle, where software meets hardware. You will influence both ongoing projects and the long-term platform strategy while coaching development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and develop software architecture at the system, node, and module levels.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and quality.
• Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the roadmap and strategy.
• Participate in development projects and release planning.
• Troubleshoot and improve solutions.
• Support, coach, and guide developers.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Technical Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in software architecture, preferably in embedded systems.
• Experience in platform development is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Fluent English; Swedish is an advantage.
