Furuhedsskolan's Natural Resource Program in Kalix combines practical and theoretical education with a strong focus on technology and everything nature has to offer. Your Responsibilities

Vocational teachers in forestry subjects work right in the center of the action, where hardly one day is like another. You contribute to ensuring that students receive both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in various forestry subjects. Here are some examples of tasks included in your role as a vocational teacher with us:

• Teaching in forestry machinery courses as well as other forestry subjects.
• Preparation, planning, and follow-up of teaching and workplace-based learning.
• Collaboration with students, guardians, staff, and various actors in the forestry industry.
• Mentorship duties.
• Administrative tasks such as attendance management and other documentation.
• Develop student learning and the quality of education together with the work team.

We are looking for

You who have a B driver's license. You need to have experience working with forestry machinery, particularly forwarders.

You enjoy working with young people, and we value your ability and willingness to meet students based on their knowledge and needs.

You are a cooperative team player with good communication skills that contribute to the development of students and the program.

You are flexible, creative, patient, and capable of seeing opportunities in change.
