Tunaskolan F-9, located in the Tuna area between Mjölkudden and Notviken, covers one of Luleå's larger catchment areas. From autumn 2025, the school will have approximately 600 primary school students, of whom about 200 also attend our after-school care program. Within Tunaskolan, adapted primary school operates with approximately 130 students, which means we have opportunities for collaboration within our school. The school is self-sufficient regarding facilities, meaning we avoid travel to other schools when students need practical-aesthetic subjects. The school has undergone a total renovation over the past few years, meaning classrooms and furniture are of high standard.

In the area, we also have good contacts with other actors such as Notvikens IK, the Church, SPF, and the Tenants' Association. The school can also use Notvikens IK's entire sports facility, which is connected to the school area via a tunnel under Mjölkuddsvägen. Additionally, there is proximity to an outdoor rink or the Coop Norrbotten Arena during the winter half-year. Tunaskolan's central location means that the school's students have easy access to events held in the city center or on the university campus, something that is also well utilized by our skilled educators. Despite its central location, Tunaskolan is also close to nature and water, which in turn provides great opportunities for variation in teaching.

WORK ASSIGNMENTS

We are now looking for a student assistant for us at Tunaskolan. You plan and carry out activities adapted to the students' needs and actively participate in the pedagogical work during both school days and after-school care. In the role of student assistant, you are an important support for students in both their knowledge development and social interaction. You work closely with teachers, student health services, and after-school care staff to create a safe, structured, and developmental learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a high school diploma, and we see it as meritorious if you also have any education directed towards school and/or children and young people. Experience working with children in need of special support is also meritorious.

As a person, it is required that you are structured and organized, planning and completing your work well. To succeed in the role, it is required that you have the ability to meet the needs of different students, to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and that you value collaboration and strive for common success. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
