FilmCentrum Syd is a non-profit membership association for filmmakers and film professionals in Scania. We are now looking for a structured, driven, and independent part-time finance manager. You thrive with a broad area of responsibility spanning from bookkeeping, invoicing and payroll administration, updating our membership register, and other administrative tasks at the office.
Your main responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping & Invoicing: You are responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, outgoing and incoming invoices, as well as preparing accounts for our auditor.
- Payroll Administration: You handle the monthly payroll (collecting documentation, timesheets, calculations, etc.) for 5–6 employees.
- Budget & Financial Reporting: Together with the board's operational chairperson, you plan the budget for both applications and reporting, and keep the liquidity budget updated.
- Membership Register: You have overall responsibility for keeping our membership register updated and handling membership fees.
- General Office Administration: You manage the daily operations of the office in Malmö. This includes handling mail, purchasing office supplies, and ensuring our work environment is welcoming and functional.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoys taking ownership of their processes. Since the role involves being the hub between everyone at the office and the association's board, we would appreciate if you are also communicative and service-oriented.
Qualifications:
- Experience and enthusiasm for bookkeeping and payroll administration.
- Strong administrative skills and experience working digitally. We currently use Fortnox for bookkeeping and payroll, but are open to changing systems if you are more comfortable with another.
- Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work in a structured manner, even when working independently.
- A service-oriented and accommodating work approach.
What we offer
We offer a flexible part-time position in a creative and dynamic environment in Malmö. A good balance between work and leisure is important to us, and we want to give you the best conditions to succeed in your role.
- Peer-based Salary Setting: At FilmCentrum Syd, we believe in equality and transparency. We will apply peer-based salary setting, meaning all employees in the organization have the same base salary (percentage based on full-time equivalent), approx. 32,300 SEK for a full-time position.
- Flexibility in daily life: You will be employed with trust-based working hours, where you are expected to be at the office to handle physical and location-bound tasks for at least half of your working time, but otherwise have the opportunity to work remotely.
- Secure Conditions: We offer pension insurance and favorable employment terms according to Union's agreement with Fremia - Pensioners within Civil Society.
- Health and Well-being: As an employee, you are entitled to a wellness allowance of 1,500 SEK/year.
- A central role in the film community: You will become a key person in our team at FilmCentrum Syd, where your contribution makes a direct difference for both daily operations and our members within the southern Swedish film industry.
