Sundqvist is now looking for an experienced Purchaser who wants to become part of a family-like team focused on long-term relationships and quality.
About the Role
You will become part of the purchasing department, where the team works closely together and is characterized by high competence, lack of hierarchy, and strong collaboration.
As a purchaser, you are responsible for several own brands and drive the purchasing process from start to finish. The role involves close collaboration with sales, logistics, and suppliers to ensure the right products, the right stock levels, and accurate forecasts. You will also contribute to the development of working methods and system support within purchasing.
Your main responsibilities:
- Independently drive the purchasing process from needs planning to ordering and follow-up
- Work with forecasts and ensure availability/delivery precision
- Responsible for supplier dialogue regarding orders, deliveries, and assortment
- Actively contribute to our S&OP process, participate in follow-up and improvement of forecast quality
- Identify deviations (over-/understock, delivery risks) and propose actions
- Work in business systems with item data and purchasing administration
- Provide operational support to the organization regarding stock, delivery options, and price/margin structure
We are looking for you who
We are looking for you who have a few years of experience in operational purchasing and who thrive with significant personal responsibility. You are used to driving your processes independently while appreciating close collaboration with colleagues.
You are motivated by creating structure, ensuring efficient purchasing flows, and developing working methods where it adds value. At the same time, you are humble, non-hierarchical, and thrive in a business where the team always comes before the individual.
We see that you have:
- A few years of experience in operational purchasing
- Experience in forecasting and needs planning
- Experience with international supplier contacts
- Experience working with own suppliers or brands
- Good system proficiency and an interest in developing working methods and processes
- Very good skills in Excel
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Post-secondary education in purchasing, logistics, economics, or equivalent
Experience with AGR Inventory is a merit.

About the Employment
This is a consulting assignment via OIO with a duration of approximately 12 months.
- Scope: Full-time
- Start: Immediately or as agreed
- Location: Torslanda, Gothenburg
- Working hours: Monday–Thursday 07:30–17:00, Friday 08:00–15:00. Possibility of some hybrid work
- Assignment duration: Approximately 12 months
