About the role

As the department manager, you lead and drive the department with a focus on:

• A fresh, well-stocked, and sales-driven department
• Profitability and understanding of key figures
• Goods flow and quality
• Minimizing waste
• Meeting customers with energy, knowledge, and a warm greeting!

You help open the store when deliveries arrive early in the morning and ensure the department is ready for the day. The role also includes responsibility for our excellent bread and flower departments, some cash register duties, and stepping in where needed – we are a team.

The schedule involves varying working hours and work every other Saturday morning.

The position is for approximately 35 hours per week or as agreed.

• Understands the economics behind a profitable department
• Is not afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed
