Stora Coop Skövde is a well-established and appreciated store with a good assortment and a clear ecological profile. Our opening hours are 7 AM to 10 PM every day of the week to offer good accessibility for our customers. The store currently has around 40 employees and several part-timers.
As Sales Manager for Fresh Food, you are responsible for all areas of the store within the mechanical customer interaction, where you drive issues and activities based on maximizing NKI (Net Customer Index).
You have full personnel responsibility and achieve your goals through your employees' performance. You are a skilled communicator who leads, coaches, engages, and follows up on your employees based on common working methods. The main goal of the position is to strengthen the customer experience and ensure that we constantly strive to optimize processes within supply that lead to "Fully Stocked, Fresh, and Fronted".
Your role includes workforce management during the store's various opening hours. The work is physically demanding. It is highly meritorious if you have worked with team picking, online orders, and fresh foods in your previous retail experience. Your duties include:
- Ensure that goals with action plans are established and followed up
- Work on continuous improvements of processes for example Team Picking, CAO, minimize FYS
- Responsible for the store's sales planning together with other sales managers
- Responsible for efficient staffing in the store
- General store work and workforce management
To succeed in your role:

You are part of the store's management group and thus have overall responsibility for the store's results. In the management group, you primarily drive development and activities within the product flow. You report to the Store Manager.
The assignment includes, and may also involve, covering for the Store Manager during short absences such as illness or vacation, which implies overall responsibility for the store.
We see that you have experience and education from retail so you know what is required to create an efficient and profitable operation.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date August 17th or as agreed. Recruitment is ongoing and the position may be filled before the last application date. We apply a probation period. Working hours include some evening and weekend shifts.

Education:
- High school education is a requirement
- Post-secondary education is meritorious
Experience/Special Competence:
- The position requires broad experience and competence from grocery retail
- The position requires documented experience of leading employees
- The position requires documented good results in business with own profit responsibility
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, in speech and writing, is a requirement.
