RESPONSIBILITIES

As a temporary substitute at Knivsta Adapted Primary School, you replace regular staff during acute and planned absences.

You are present as support by the students' side throughout the entire school day and ensure the students have a good day in the after-school care activities.

An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the students to develop their abilities and create opportunities for learning.

We collaborate within the work team to jointly create successful and educational days for our students. In the work, we strive to develop the students' abilities.

Care and personal hygiene are part of the duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have at least a high school education and experience working with children in need of special support, as well as experience within Adapted Primary School or LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations.

You are flexible, empathetic, and able to quickly put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation. You have the ability to see the big picture and view issues from a broader perspective.

You use a low-affective approach and keep the student in focus.

Meritorious: If you also have knowledge of TAKK (Signing as Support).

To work as a temporary substitute with us, you must have good teamwork skills and be stress-resistant, with the ability to build relationships with both children and adults. You are engaged, proactive, flexible, and curious about working in a school setting with different age groups.

Employment requires an extract from the police's criminal record for work within schools/childcare.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Salary form: Hourly wage.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Hourly paid - number of hours varies.
