RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged and relationship-building educator for our special education group. The assignment involves creating a safe, structured, and developmental school environment for students who are in need of special support.

As an educator, you have coordinating responsibility for the group and act as a mentor for the students. You are responsible for keeping the group together during the school day, creating structure and continuity, and supporting the students in their knowledge-based, social, and personal development.

You plan and coordinate the students' school day in close collaboration with teaching teachers, student health services, guardians, and school management. You follow the students' development, promote good attendance, and contribute to creating conditions so that each student can reach as far as possible based on their own prerequisites.

The assignment includes:

• being a mentor for the students in the special education group,
• creating structure, safety, and cohesion in the group,
• coordinating the students' school day and support measures,
• collaborating with teaching teachers, student health services, and guardians,
• monitoring the students' development and contributing to the planning of appropriate support measures,
• documenting and participating in the work regarding the students' individual planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a pedagogical education or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Experience working with students in need of special support, NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), or in special education groups is meritorious.

You are a secure adult with a clear and low-affective approach. You have a good ability to create and maintain relationships, work in a structured manner, and collaborate with different professions. You are flexible, solution-focused, and have a strong commitment to creating an accessible and inclusive learning environment.
