Workplace Description
The Department of Laboratory Medicine (ILM) is one of seven departments at the Faculty of Medicine. We conduct leading research within the field of laboratory medicine, focusing on understanding the onset of diseases and improving diagnostics and treatment for patients. Some of our strongest research areas, featuring world-class operations, are cancer, genetics, and blood research.
The department has approximately 300 employees and an annual turnover of around 500 million SEK, the majority of which consists of external research grants.
The ILM administrative office consists of 14 employees: one administrative coordinator, two HR partners, one HR administrator, seven economists, and two economic administrators, all led by an administrative manager.
