Development Manager for AI, Analysis and Visualization

We are seeking four development managers responsible for data transformation and storage, analysis and visualization, leadership, follow-up and daily steering, as well as information structure. Together, you will form a team that develops Region Jönköping County's ability to work in a data-driven manner – from information and data to analysis, decision-making, and continuous improvements.

As the Development Manager for AI, Analysis, and Visualization, you lead the development of data-driven working methods and modern decision support systems that strengthen the organization's ability to make well-founded decisions and create better results for residents and operations in Region Jönköping County.

The Role of Development Manager for AI, Analysis, and Visualization

You play a key role in developing Region Jönköping County's ability to use data as a strategic resource and create prerequisites for a data-driven and knowledge-based way of working. In your role, you develop methods, working practices, and solutions that make it possible to analyze, monitor, and translate data into insights that strengthen governance, operational development, and continuous improvements.

Furthermore, you lead development within data supply, analysis, visualization, and decision support, ensuring that information is accessible in a secure, reliable, and user-friendly manner. In this role, you are responsible for the development and management of indicators, key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reports, as well as establishing common methods for analysis, visualization, and self-service solutions. You also contribute to the use of AI and advanced analytics where it creates operational value.

The assignment is carried out in close collaboration with operations and other key functions. You coordinate development efforts within analysis and visualization and drive the development towards a more data-driven organization.

Qulturum is a well-known center with a long history and high reputation for developing working methods and new methods, as well as support in strategically important areas of improvement and leadership. Qulturum supports strategic operational development within all of Region Jönköping County's operational areas.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have an academic degree in fields such as information science, systems science, statistics, economics, or another area that the employer deems relevant. Alternatively, you have other education and experience that is considered equivalent.

You have experience in using data as a strategic resource for operational development and have worked with data analysis, business intelligence, operational follow-up, or information modeling. Additionally, you have experience leading cross-functional development initiatives and translating operational needs into data-driven solutions and decision support. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of data processing, analysis, visualization, and modern BI tools, as well as an understanding of data platforms, data architecture, metadata, data quality, and data governance.

You also have knowledge of information security, relevant regulations, and how AI can be used to strengthen analysis, decision-making, and operational development. Experience in developing and implementing strategies and development plans is a prerequisite.

As a person, you are strategic, self-directed, and results-oriented with the ability to translate long-term goals into concrete results. You are a clear and empathetic collaborator who builds trusting relationships, creates engagement, and drives development in collaboration across organizational boundaries.
