Your Role

We are now looking for a positive and interested colleague within the quality area. In this role, you will belong to the shop-floor support team, working together with other support functions to support and optimize production in both the short and long term. You will work with varied tasks such as problem-solving, coordination, and driving cases/investigations, improvements, and deviations in production.

You will be part of the management team for the production section/building step where you will operate, together with production managers, team leaders, production technicians, and production controllers.

In the management team, we work together and help each other with our areas of responsibility to achieve the business goals. This may, for example, involve developing guidelines and activities to reduce deviations within your production section, or achieving our goals regarding lead time or man-hours.

Your Profile

You will belong to Quality, within Saab Aeronautics Fighter Production. The section supports Aeronautics Fighter Production with quality engineering questions, problem-solving, and optimizations within the Assembly area. Within the section, we are approximately 15 Quality Engineers with different experiences, but what we have in common is that we have the customer at the center, are driven by solving problems, and working with continuous improvements.

The work as a Quality Engineer involves extensive collaboration with different departments and business units within the company. Therefore, you should enjoy working in a team and be driven by achieving common goals. We would like you to be analytical and creative, thus able to find solutions to the problems that arise in production.

To succeed in the role, we believe that you as an applicant have:

• High school competence in the technical field or equivalent competence obtained in another way.
• Competence in information retrieval in computer systems.
• Interest in working for the best of production with support in, among other things, product/requirement knowledge, root cause investigations, and production processes.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have professional experience in quality engineering/quality assurance and/or practical work experience from the aviation industry, as well as previous experience with business systems from IFS.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
