The Social Services Department is responsible for measures, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and the Health and Medical Services Act, and are to implement measures regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by putting the individual at the center to meet the individual's needs. The assignment involves a strong customer focus and a service-oriented spirit.

Provider LSS and Social Psychiatry, with just over 350 permanent employees, is a provider operation directed towards children, young people, and adults. We are governed, among other things, by LSS, SoL, and HSL and have executive responsibility for measures regulated by these laws. The operation is characterized by putting the individual at the center and collaborating to be able to meet the individual's needs. The operation has a large customer focus, good service spirit, and provides conditions for cross-boundary work that is both inspiring and competence-developing.

We are now looking for a personal assistant for a woman in her 20s living in Tjällmo.

Job Duties

As a personal assistant, you work, together with a colleague, as a support in the woman's daily life at home. Tasks such as care, interpreting communication, creating participation, support with personal hygiene, handling assistive devices, medication management, and some cleaning.

Working hours are scheduled for awake night shifts (discussed further during the interview).

The extent of the position and start date are by agreement.

Qualifications

Formal Competencies:

• For this assignment, we are looking for a woman according to the user's wishes.
• High school diploma, preferably as a nurse assistant or childcare worker.
• You master the Swedish language very well in both speech and writing.
• Category B driver's license and access to your own car.
• Experience in care or personal assistance is meritorious.

Personal Competencies:

• You are caring and easily put yourself in others' situations. You listen, understand, and show consideration. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach.
• You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a listening and smooth manner.
• You have the resources required for change or problem-solving. You do your best by doing what you can right now. You find quick solutions to emerging problems.
• You have a good understanding of how humans absorb knowledge and of people's different conditions. You adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient.
