Nordic Key Account Manager in Retail – Drive Business Forward Together with Our Successful Customers.

ABENA AB is part of the Danish family-owned ABENA Group and has approximately 150 employees in Sweden. With operations in Växjö and Kisa, including our own production, we deliver care and consumable products to both the public sector and private industry. We combine international presence with flexibility and a close customer focus.

Are you ready to take a key role in driving Nordic sales and developing strong retail partnerships within private label? We are now looking for a business-driven Nordic Key Account Manager who wants to contribute to our continued growth and develop profitable customer relationships on a Nordic level.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

As a Nordic Key Account Manager, you have overall responsibility for our retail customers in the Nordics. The role involves close collaboration with customers through active local presence and regular physical visits, where you build long-term relationships and develop the business.

A central focus is driving the sales of our own-produced products from our facility in Kisa, as well as developing private label solutions within the ABENA Group, where you create competitive offers together with the customer.

You will become part of an established business area with seven colleagues and work closely with production in Sweden and the headquarters in Denmark.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive and develop sales to retail customers in the Nordics
  • Develop and implement business strategies per customer
  • Drive private label business in close collaboration with the customer and internal functions
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through continuous follow-up and presence
  • Coordinate projects between production and HQ in Denmark
  • Responsible for budget, forecasts, and results within your customer segment

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • Experience in Key Account Management within retail
  • Documented success in sales and business development
  • Ability to drive business independently from idea to close
  • Good collaboration skills in international environments
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written (additional Nordic language is an advantage)

Experience working within private label, OEM, or own brands is advantageous.

Location: Sweden. The position is home-based. Proximity to our production in Östergötland or our headquarters in Växjö is an advantage, but not a requirement. The role involves travel with varying scope and overnight stays.
