Our outpatient clinic is located in Globen, while our surgical unit is situated at Sophiahemmet. This gives you the opportunity to work in modern facilities with efficient patient flows and close collaboration between the clinic and the surgical unit. Good transport connections to both locations make commuting easy.

We are looking for you who are a specialist doctor in ophthalmology with broad clinical competence and several years of experience in eye care. You have experience in cataract surgery and are confident in your specialist role, focusing on high medical quality and good patient outcomes. Experience in refractive surgery is meritorious but not a requirement.

The work consists of pre-operative examinations for cataract surgeries as well as performing cataract surgery. You work closely with surgical staff, nurses, opticians, and other professionals to create safe and efficient patient flows.

We have a care agreement for specialized eye care with the Region of Stockholm. We also receive patients paying through insurance or privately.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed physician with a specialist certificate in ophthalmology.

• Have several years of experience as a specialist doctor in eye care.

• Have extensive experience in cataract surgery.

• Are confident in your specialist role and can independently make medical assessments and clinical decisions.

• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in refractive surgery.

• Experience working in both public and private eye care.

• Experience in quality and development work.
