About Nova Psychiatry

Nova Health Group was founded with a vision to revolutionize psychiatry and the treatment of mental illness. We strive to offer a modern and patient-centered care experience. Our goal is to provide Europe's best assessment and treatment for individuals with ADHD, autism, and other psychiatric conditions. We currently serve our patients under the brands Nova Psychiatry and Karla Psychiatry, with more companies in the pipeline within the group.

Today's psychiatry is often characterized by traditional methods and a slow pace of work, where technical advancements and patient needs rarely take center stage. Many patients struggle to navigate the complex public system or turn to large healthcare providers where they risk becoming an anonymous number in the crowd. We have chosen to do things differently by putting the patient at the center and offering psychiatric care with five-star service. Our strategy is built on patient experience, quality, and efficiency, using modern technology and innovative working methods to continuously improve and develop our operations.

Our dedicated team is the core of our operations, consisting primarily of psychologists, doctors, and nurses. Nova was founded in 2024 and currently has 70+ employees – and we are growing fast. We are now looking for driven individuals who want to shape the future of psychiatry together with us. We place great emphasis on hiring Sweden's most skilled employees, but also on creating a workplace where people thrive better than anywhere else.

Nova's vision is to show how psychiatry can work, for both patients and employees. We believe it can be done much better. We are driven by constantly improving patient satisfaction, maintaining high quality, and simultaneously increasing efficiency through reduced administration. We believe we achieve this by having fun together, daring to make mistakes, and daring to strive to be the best at what we do.

About the Role

We are seeking licensed psychologists to strengthen our team in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Copenhagen, as well as fully digitally.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct neuropsychiatric assessments for both adults and children, with a primary focus on ADHD and/or autism.
  • The work takes place primarily in or near the city where you are based, but may also involve locations further away. Therefore, you should be comfortable with some travel as part of the role.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You are social and genuinely enjoy working with people. You quickly create a sense of safety in the room, are clear in your communication, and make patients feel seen and understood. We want Sweden's happiest patients, which requires psychologists who are not only clinically skilled but also personal, warm, and professionally relaxed.
  • You have internal drive and want to perform with both quality and speed. Structure and efficiency are natural parts of your working style, and you appreciate an environment where freedom is linked with responsibility. When you work focused and smart, it shows in what you deliver and how your daily life looks.
  • You are technically confident. You handle digital systems effortlessly and see technology as a natural part of a modern way of working.
  • Experience with neuropsychiatric assessments is advantageous, but ultimately it is your attitude, ambition, and ability to create satisfied patients that matter most.

Why Nova

You get to be part of an amazing journey where we hopefully build Europe's largest and best company in mental health, where we truly help our customers.

  • A high degree of freedom and personal responsibility, with as few internal meetings as possible.
  • Flexible working hours. The opportunity to structure your work weeks in a way that suits you.
  • Support in the form of psychologist assistants who help you with much of the administrative work, allowing you to focus as much as possible on patient interactions.
  • Social activities together, such as after-work events, parties, and gatherings with colleagues.
