We are now looking for a nurse for a one-year maternity leave cover at the Bronchoscopy Unit at Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge.

About the position
We are currently looking for a nurse for a temporary position at the Bronchoscopy Unit.
At the Bronchoscopy Unit, advanced pulmonary examinations and procedures are performed, creating a varied and stimulating work environment. Here, bronchoscopies, insertion of pleural drains, and various types of lung sampling are performed. Most procedures are carried out on elective patients, but we also admit inpatients with acute needs from across the hospital.
As a nurse, you work in a team together with other nurses, assistant nurses, and doctors. Together, you are responsible for performing examinations and procedures with high patient safety and quality. The role includes, among other things, handling medications, sterile instruments, medical technology equipment, and sample materials.
The position is during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00, with a location in Huddinge. Start date is by agreement.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Swedish nursing license
- At least three to four years of experience as a nurse in hospital operations
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Merits:
- Experience in pulmonology and/or bronchoscopy or lung oncology
- Experience in handling medical technology equipment
- Specialist training in surgery, anesthesia, or intensive care
