Your Role

As a Project Quality Manager within PU Avionics in Huskvarna, you ensure that our customer projects meet quality requirements efficiently. You become an integrated part of our project teams and work broadly on projects ranging from development and production to aftermarket. The role involves close collaboration with functions such as design, product management, project management, production, and procurement.

The work as a Project Quality Manager involves working in your key roles within quality:

• Advisor: You provide strategic advice and guide your colleagues on how best to meet the requirements of the quality system.
• Influencer: As an ambassador for our quality culture, you inspire your colleagues to make quality-conscious decisions.
• Educator: You train and inform about the business system and how quality methods and routines work in practice.
• Auditor/Reviewer: You ensure that we identify defects early in the flow and dare to speak up when there is a risk of things going off track.
• Improver: You analyze quality defects and deviations and turn them into concrete quality improvements.

The position also includes planning and conducting internal audits to identify areas for development, as well as coaching the business in implementing improvements. At need, you also support external audits from customers and authorities.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, communicative, and curious. You thrive working proactively, focusing on improvements, and taking strong ownership of your tasks. You are skilled at seeing the big picture but do not hesitate to dive deep into data and complex analyses when needed. You have high integrity and the courage to stand firm when quality requirements are not met, feeling confident in challenging, coaching, and positively influencing the teams around you to ensure the highest quality.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• A Master of Science in Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree, or equivalent experience assessed as comparable.
• Several years of experience in quality and/or improvement work, or similar roles.
• Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, in both Swedish and English.

The following are also meritorious:

• Experience from project work and training smaller and larger groups.
• Experience from product development in electronics, mechanics, software, or systems.
• Knowledge and experience with tools and methods for problem solving, root cause analysis, lessons learned, and improvement work.
• Experience from internal and external audits.
• Practical experience working according to standards such as ISO9001, EN9100, or similar from other regulated industries such as ISO26262 or ISO13485.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
