We are looking for more casual staff for Supported Housing within Social Psychiatry in Sundbyberg Municipality.

As a casual staff member, you step in when there is a need to strengthen the regular staffing or as a substitute during employee absence. We have now, in the middle of summer, identified a need for replenishment, hence this advertisement. We would prefer that you complete your introduction in June so that you can be on-call for substitutions starting in July.

What is Supported Housing?

Here is a brief description of the operations. Within the welfare and care sector, you will find Supported Housing. We work to provide our clients with good support based on individual needs and assist them in their daily lives. This means we work based on each individual's needs and support them in what is necessary based on an approved decision for the Supported Housing intervention. The interventions we perform may include supporting contacts with other authorities, support in daily household chores, breaking isolation by helping to get out into society through various activities, and more. The service is aimed at people with mental and neuropsychiatric disabilities.

Supported Housing operates from our office in Hallonbergen at Lötsjövägen 6.

As a Supported Housing Worker, you will, in consultation with the team leader, work towards the development of the unit's operational planning, implementation, and documentation. This requires a good ability to work towards set goals.

We work Monday–Friday (not weekends), and shifts start as early as 08:00 and end no later than 19:00.

Your tasks include, among other things, collaboration with other units and actors, both internally and externally. You must have good communication skills and express yourself well in both speech and writing. Since we have documentation requirements in the operations, you must have good knowledge of documentation. You have basic IT skills and can use the computer as a tool, and you learn new systems easily.

The team at Supported Housing is an 18-person team with 2 team leaders and 1 unit manager. The tasks also include planning meetings, APT (Departmental Staff Meetings), and other common meetings according to a fixed meeting calendar.

We want you to have a nursing education at the foundational level, comparable to mental health nursing education, the nursing program with a focus on psychiatry, or alternatively, other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have documented experience working with people with mental and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. Additional qualifications such as training in ESL, low-affective handling, addiction conditions, and MI (Motivational Interviewing) are meritorious.

The position is a casual assignment with immediate start.

A large part of our operations is classified as essential societal functions. The position implies that you may be included in Sundbyberg Municipality's war organization.
