About the position
Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everyday occurrences and basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client's individual needs dictate the workday, and tasks may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities both inside and outside the home.

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and identify what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is crucial that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary
The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means working as needed with varying hours during the day and evening. Working hours are from 09:00–13:00 or 14:30–20:00 in Norrtälje until August 16th. After August 16th, you will work evening shifts in Uppsala and evening shifts in Norrtälje.
Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.
Start date by agreement.
