About the position

At Bonzi, we are looking for more dedicated and caring colleagues who want to work as personal assistants for our client in Rosersberg. The position offers varying degrees of employment and suits you who want to make a real difference in another person's daily life.

We are also looking for you who want to work as a temporary substitute when needed and cover for regular assistants' absence, for example during vacation or sickness. As a temporary substitute, you need to be flexible and able to work with short notice. Working hours vary and can be scheduled on weekdays and weekends.

As a personal assistant, you become an important part of the client's life and contribute to security, joy, and quality of life.

Note: The client is only seeking female assistants.

Responsibilities:

• Support in daily routines and household chores
• Help with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals
• Practical support at home and in daily activities
• Transfers where lifting may occur
• Exercise and movement together based on the client's needs

Varying working hours (weekdays and weekends):

• 07:30–14:30
• 14:30–20:30
• 20:30–07:30 (Awake night)

About the client

I am 18 years old and a happy and positive girl looking for more assistants with big hearts and great commitment.

I have drug-resistant epilepsy and complex breathing problems, which means I need assistance around the clock and help with most things in my daily life.

I understand what you say, but I express myself through sounds and facial expressions. It means a lot to me that you are patient, present, and clear in your communication, so that I can take in what you say at my own pace.

My interests include music and singing, playing games, swimming, horse riding, and coming up with other fun activities.

I have a lot of energy and like when things are happening, but sometimes I get tired and need calm and quiet. You need to be able to read the situation and switch between activity and calm, always with regard to my needs and how I feel that day.

Assistive Devices

In daily life, I use several different assistive devices, including:

• Hand and foot orthoses
• Standing frame
• Hoppolek (mobility aid)
• Ceiling lift
• Inhaler
• PEP (Positive Expiratory Pressure)
• Gastrostomy
• Cough assist machine
• Suction machine
• Saturation meter
• Oxygen as needed

Requirements

• Good physical ability as transfers occur
• Not allergic to fur-bearing animals as several large dogs live in the home and horse riding occurs
• Non-smoker
• Experience working as a personal assistant or within care and social services
• Swimming proficiency and tolerance for chlorine
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing

Start date: Interviews are held continuously, and the position can be filled before the application deadline.

Scope: 1 position at 40%, 1 position at 75%, and 1 temporary substitute as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Things to consider before applying:

A prerequisite for starting employment at Bonzi is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and submit a certificate of personal registration (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, guide, or substitute with us, you must be 18 years old. The age requirement follows the rules for personal assistance, guidance, and substitution in LSS and the Social Insurance Code.

To work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check covers both extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register. The extracts are ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so ordering should be done well in advance.
