Hello!

I am a 57-year-old man living in Vallentuna with my two cats, and I am looking for a personal assistant to help me in my daily life during the absence of regular staff. I am paralyzed from the shoulders down (but fully alert) and use a wheelchair, so you will be my arms and legs. I need help with basic tasks such as meals, hygiene, activities, etc., so your workplace will be wherever I am. I spend a large part of my time at home, but sometimes I travel, and in those cases, you will accompany me.

My interests include hobbies, gardening, and home maintenance. I also have a strong interest in cars and spend a good amount of time in my garage working on various projects. It would be a plus if you share similar interests.

I prefer candidates aged 30–50 who have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written. I grow together with my assistant, so it is important that you are receptive, responsible, and have a positive view of people.

Please describe in your application if you have experience working as a personal assistant or any other experience that you believe would be advantageous. The right personal chemistry is the most important factor and takes precedence over other qualifications!

This position is a temporary assignment based on need during the absence of regular staff. Therefore, there is no fixed schedule for when you will work. Looking at the past few months, the need has amounted to approximately 50%. Each shift is 24 hours, starting at 08:15 and ending at 08:15 the following day (active time 24 hours). It is important that you are flexible, as the group helps cover shifts and swaps with each other during illness, childcare emergencies, etc. It is a plus if you can step in with short notice!

NOTE! A certificate of conduct from the Swedish Police Authority is required and should be brought to any potential interview.

Hourly wage by agreement. Collective agreement applies.
