Länstrafiken Kronoberg is an administration within Region Kronoberg. Our mission is to contribute to good travel opportunities in the county by offering a well-functioning general public transport system as well as special public transport for the municipalities that have commissioned us to procure/perform taxi services and school trips.

Länstrafiken performs over 10 million journeys annually within general public transport, and our overarching goal is to have more and happier customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Transport Developer, you work on strategic directions, lead or participate in assignments, investigations, and negotiations. You participate in transport procurements, a task that spans the entire procurement process, from participating in preliminary studies to compiling procurement documentation.

You also play a key role in planning, developing, and optimizing public transport. You are responsible for designing timetables and vehicle rotations, ensuring that the right resources are in the right place at the right time. By analyzing passenger statistics and traffic data, you identify development opportunities and adapt the transport to the needs of passengers and established guidelines. The role also involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring the implementation and economics of transport in close collaboration with transport companies, municipalities, and other partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, you have a university degree in logistics, transport planning, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience from working life. You have several years of experience from transport planning.

We are looking for someone who is easy to work with, responsible, structured, and analytical. You have the ability to see the big picture while keeping an eye on details. You are motivated by improving and developing and have a strong desire to find solutions that create value for both the business and our customers.

You must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start: As soon as possible or as agreed.
Working hours: Daytime.
