The Education Administration is responsible for preschools, after-school centers, primary schools, upper secondary schools, and adapted primary and upper secondary schools. We have over 3,200 employees at 40 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four upper secondary schools. The Position and Responsibilities

We are looking for you who are passionate about Science and Mathematics (NO) subjects and driven by subject development. You are keen on staying updated as a teacher and in your subjects through environmental monitoring and further education. In your role, you conduct teaching in Science and Mathematics for grades 7-9, along with related tasks such as pre- and post-teaching work and grading. You are part of a work team and participate in the team's joint work. You actively participate in the school's value-based work and work inclusively. Mentoring is a central part of your role through social contact regarding students and classes, contact with guardians, absence management, development talks, and collaboration with authorities and social services. In your role, you collaborate with the student health team. You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

Here, you may also have the opportunity to be responsible for the Science and Mathematics institution, which means driving subject development forward in a collegial collaboration.

Trädgårdsstadsskolan is a preschool to grade 9 school with approx. 700 students located in Tullinge, Botkyrka Municipality. The school is built in modules with workrooms in close proximity to classrooms and recreation areas, providing good conditions for building relationships with students. You who apply to us

Requirements:

• Teaching license with eligibility to teach Science and Mathematics in grades 7–9
• Previous experience working in grades 7-9 with mentoring responsibilities
• Documented good subject knowledge
• Good teamwork skills and a professional approach
• You thrive in working in teams and contributing to the school's joint development
• Very good language skills in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing. A language test is conducted according to Botkyrka Municipality's guidelines.

Merits:

• Eligibility in Technology
• Previous experience in institutional/subject responsibility
• Experience teaching in primary school, where you adapt teaching to students' different needs
• Competence in digital tools and learning platforms, e.g., V-Klass, Google Classroom, or similar
• Education or experience in Science and Mathematics-related projects
