RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged and skilled teacher in textile crafts for grades 1–6.

This role is perfect for you who want to awaken students' joy of creation, develop their practical skills, and deliver teaching of high pedagogical quality.

Your main responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in textile crafts for lower and middle school in accordance with the Swedish National Curriculum (Lgr22).
• Adapt teaching so that it challenges, supports, and includes all students, regardless of prior knowledge.
• Create a safe, creative, and structured environment in the craft room where safety and good working conditions are in focus.

Quality in teaching: You are passionate about your subject and do not compromise on quality. Through clear instructions, formative assessment, and inspiring projects, you help students reach their full potential and develop genuine craft knowledge.

Cutting-edge collaboration: You work closely with colleagues, primarily wood and metal craft teachers, as well as other teachers in the work team. You are eager to share ideas, collaborate on cross-curricular projects, and actively contribute to the school's joint development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed teacher with eligibility to teach textile crafts for grades 1–6 (or ongoing studies leading to graduation).
• High cooperation skills: You are unpretentious, communicative, and see teamwork around the student as a given.
• You have a good ability to document students' knowledge development and ensure that teaching is based on scientific grounds and proven experience.
