About the Role

In care and social services, we work to have a high-quality operation that creates value for our customers. As a colleague has chosen to move on to another position within the municipality, we are now looking for an assistance case worker (SoL).

Responsibilities

As a case worker, you have a holistic perspective and base your work on the individual's needs. The work involves, among other things, receiving applications from the individual, investigating, making decisions, and documenting. In your daily work, you have contact with the individual through home visits, phone calls, and you collaborate with inpatient care as well as other staff and relatives. We investigate according to the IBIC model, Individual Needs in the Center. You work independently but also in close cooperation with colleagues, other professions, and operations both internally and externally. Tierp Municipality is large in area, and you need to be able to travel for work during daytime.

On the unit, 7 assistance case workers (SoL), 2 discharge case workers, 5 assistance case workers (LSS/SoPs), as well as a unit manager work, and soon the unit will also be expanded with a team leader.

Qualifications

We would like you to be educated as a social worker or have completed the social care program. You should have a genuine interest in working with people in need of support and help and be part of their development. You should have good documentation habits and be able to conduct conversations in a motivating and solution-focused manner.

It is meritorious if you have experience in authority execution and good knowledge of social law. A B-driver's license is a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that you fit into our work team.

Start date according to agreement.
