This role is for you who knows the business from the inside and wants to grow into a Business Analyst role, learning by doing while creating real value for IKEA.

At Inter IKEA Group, we create a better everyday life for the many people, our customers, co-workers, and suppliers.

Within Supply Chain Development (SCD), we together with our business partners and stakeholders develop capabilities (in four dimensions process, people, data & technology) that enable a strong, integrated value chain across IKEA.

Procurement Development is part of SCD and focuses on the full supplier lifecycle — from sourcing and contracting to performance and compliance. We work end-to-end, always with improvement, collaboration and value creation in mind.

Job Description

Business Analyst education or previous Business Analyst role experience is not a must for this role, what matters is your business understanding, curiosity, communication skills, and willingness to learn the BA craft.

You will:

  • Work close to stakeholders within procurement as well as external partners
  • Help clarify needs, challenges and opportunities in the Source-to-Contract area
  • Constructively challenge ways of working to find better, simpler and more value-creating solutions
  • Translate business needs into structured requirements together with Digital Product Teams
  • Support consequence and impact analysis to enable good decision-making
  • Actively contribute to solution exploration, testing, adoption and continuous improvement
  • Support change and learning by contributing to communication and learning material
  • Help follow up the value delivered after implementation

Qualifications

This role is a great next step for you if you:

  • Have solid business experience within Procurement / Source-to-Contract

  • Know the reality of procurement processes, systems and data – and see opportunities to improve them
  • Have a strong interest in learning the Business Analyst role on the job
  • Dare to challenge constructively to find better solutions
  • Enjoy structure, analysis and sense-making — without losing the big picture
  • Are curious, collaborative and motivated by delivering business value
  • Feel comfortable communicating, influencing and constructively challenging to create better outcomes

You don’t need a formal Business Analyst education or previous BA title — we value business insight, learning mindset and potential.
