The Urban Planning Administration works to develop, manage, and future-proof our city, urban areas, and rural communities. Our responsibility spans from early planning to execution and construction, as well as the operation and maintenance of the built environment.

We offer you a unique opportunity to take a key leadership role in driving, developing, and building something new – our digital, data-driven urban planning process.

We are looking for someone who wants to work on both a strategic, operational, and technical level:

• You actively work with the development and implementation of the administration's roadmap for digitalization.
• You develop and operationalize strategies, goals, and development initiatives.
• You identify needs and challenges and transform these into proposals for possible technical solutions, within both individual departments and the administration as a whole.
• You actively drive the mapping of the administration's processes, working methods, and data together with colleagues from across the Urban Planning Administration.
• You have an operational and technical understanding and work closely with competencies such as GIS and geodata, project design, system administration, 3D modeling, and visualization.
• You manage the administration's digitalization portfolio and ensure it includes projects that streamline our processes and working methods while addressing actual needs or problems.
• You belong to the development group within the Strategy and Planning department, which also consists of the geodata unit, strategy unit, and planning unit.
• You report to the department manager and the administration's management group.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university or college degree in Urban Planning (e.g., Roads and Water, Land Surveying, CAD/BIM, GIS, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or similar) or in IT (e.g., System Science, Databases, Computer Science, System Development, or similar).
• The ability to translate strategies and plans into concrete operational benefits.
• Experience in project management, innovation management, or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with digitalization within urban planning or similar industries such as industry, manufacturing, IT within municipalities, consulting firms, real estate companies, construction companies, or similar.

Merits

• Previous experience with operational digitalization within urban planning with knowledge in areas such as GIS, 3D modeling, CAD/BIM, or equivalent
• Knowledge of standards within geodata and/or CAD/BIM (e.g., CityGML, IFC, CoClass)
