Job Description

We are looking for an assistant nurse for our group home on Idrottsgatan in Höganäs.

Within Functional Support, we work based on the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disability Groups (LSS), which means that the measures must be of good quality. We achieve this by promoting equality in living conditions and working to give the individual full participation in social life. We work to respect the individual's right to self-determination and integrity.

The work involves providing support, care, and services based on the individual needs of the residents.

You support, motivate, and assist the residents in their daily lives, interpreting and clarifying everyday situations. In the role of caregiver, you will have a central role in the development of the quality of operations, with responsibility for implementation plans and social documentation. Contact person duties are also included.

You work in a team together with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Together, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the operations.

You work day/evening/overnight sleep shifts with on-call compensation, as well as weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse, preferably with specialized training in a relevant area, for our operations within functional support. For us, it is highly meritorious if you have previous experience working in the field of functional support and a good understanding of the target group.

We would also appreciate if you have experience and knowledge in areas such as pedagogical work, substance abuse, mental ill-health, and psychiatry. Experience working with people with different support needs, as well as the ability to create security, structure, and good relationships, is very important in the role.

We are looking for you who have knowledge and experience of working from a low-affective approach and who can adapt your attitude to the individual's needs. You are secure, sensitive, and professional in your approach and have a genuine interest in contributing to increased independence, participation, and quality of life for people receiving support under LSS.

Previous experience within functional support is highly meritorious and will be valued highly in the recruitment process.
