Eleonoraskolan, Botkyrka's major school investment, is the largest and most modern of its kind and a significant part of the municipality's extensive school development initiative.

Eleonoraskolan has a mathematical and scientific profile with a high digital focus and a so-called After School activity that is open in the afternoons for all students. The school plays a central role in educating and inspiring future generations in the municipality within a modern and innovative educational environment.

Eleonoraskolan accommodates nearly 1,000 students from preschool class to grade 9, as well as adapted primary school.

Responsibilities

We are now looking for an engaged and skilled teacher for grades 7–9 with qualifications in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language. You are also qualified in at least one additional subject, preferably mathematics or one of the natural science subjects (NO).

You are responsible for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching based on the curriculum and regulatory documents. In your role, you actively work with language and knowledge-developing approaches and create teaching that challenges, motivates, and gives every student the opportunity to reach their full potential.

You are part of a work team where collaboration, collegial learning, and joint development are a natural part of the operations. We are looking for you who want to contribute to the school's continued development and who see digital tools and AI as a natural part of modern teaching.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with qualifications to teach Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language for grades 7–9. You are also qualified to teach at least one additional subject, where qualification in mathematics or one of the natural science subjects (NO) is an advantage.

You have a good ability to use and guide students in digital tools as support for teaching and learning. You have experience integrating digital aids to strengthen student engagement and goal achievement, and an interest in developing teaching with the help of AI and other modern digital tools in a pedagogical and responsible manner.

You take clear pedagogical leadership in the classroom and actively work to create a safe, inclusive, and study-friendly learning environment. You have an active approach both inside and outside the classroom and contribute to creating a positive, safe, and developmental school environment. You build good relationships with students and colleagues, are present in the school's joint work, and see the importance of being an adult role model throughout the school day. You take initiative, collaborate willingly with colleagues, and actively contribute to the school's continued development.

You can differentiate teaching to meet the needs and prerequisites of different students and work with language and knowledge development to give all students the best possible conditions for success. You have close collaboration with other teachers and school staff to create a cohesive and successful learning environment.

You are clear and professional in your communication with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have the desire and ability to continuously develop your teaching through further education and collegial learning, and you are curious about new pedagogical approaches and digital tools.

We place great emphasis on you having a genuine commitment to students' learning and development, as well as wanting to be involved in developing Eleonoraskolan based on the school's vision and high ambitions. You have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and a good ability to work language-developing in all parts of teaching.
