2 Positions

Job Description

We are looking for two childcare assistants (barnskötare) for the Hästen principal area. One of the positions is currently located at the Karlavagnen preschool in Yttermalung.

The role of a childcare assistant involves observing and working according to the children's needs and carrying out the activities planned by the team. You have a holistic view, can direct attention where it is needed, and have positive expectations of the children and your colleagues.

Together with the educators, you collaborate in both pedagogically planned teaching and in free activities. You actively participate in the work and routine situations included in the operations. A large part of the work involves working outdoors. Contact and cooperation with guardians is also an important part of the job.

All work with the children and the collaboration among adults should be permeated by the preschool's value base, norms, and values. It is important that you wish to collaborate, have a holistic view, and are engaged and solution-oriented in a positive way.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a childcare assistant or have other education that the employer deems relevant. You are positive, creative, and passionate about children's learning. You have the ability to work structured and flexibly when the situation requires it. You treat guardians, children, colleagues, and the principal with respect and sensitivity.

Since large parts of the job rely on us adults creating a safe and pleasant everyday life for the children together, you must enjoy working in a group. As a person, you are responsible, show commitment to the task, and have the ability to take initiative to perform various tasks included in the job. You should be confident in your professional role and be willing to take responsibility and initiative to drive the preschool's development forward.

A valid B-class driver's license is required.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Employment Terms

• Salary Type: Monthly salary.
• Salary Range: The salary for the position currently lies within the range of 26,500 SEK – 30,500 SEK per month, based on 2025 salary levels.
• Employment Type: Permanent employment.
• Duration: Permanent, start date: According to agreement and once necessary political decisions are made.
