Administrative Coordinator for Dental Assessment

The Role of Administrative Coordinator

As an Administrative Coordinator, you are a vital cog in the various workflows of the section. You work within IT, document management, and invoice processing. Consequently, you work on developing the section's digitalization and the development of our various data systems. You also work with invoice verification and registration, and contribute to updating the section's documents and regulations.

The position is a permanent full-time employment.

Your Future Workplace

The Department of Public Health and Healthcare consists of seven sections:

  • Dental Assessment
  • Primary Care and Rehabilitation
  • Chief Physicians and Patient Safety
  • Public Health
  • Infection Control and Healthcare Hygiene
  • The Secretariat
  • E-Health

In 2026, a merger is planned between the Dental Assessment section and the Primary Care section to form the "Section for Primary Care, Rehabilitation, and Dental Support".

Dental Assessment is responsible for the planning, financing, and follow-up of region-funded dental support. Dental care is provided by both public and private dental services. The section handles assessment applications and invoices regarding dental support. We are also responsible for all registration of children and young people (0–19 years) in the county, as well as administering child dental care funds to private and public dental care providers.

Dental Assessment currently consists of assessment dentists, dental hygienists, and administrative assistants. The work is characterized by close collaboration with everyone in the team.

Your Profile

We are looking for you with long and broad experience in administration and who are educated as a healthcare administrator or have similar education.

You are a team player with an open and listening attitude, very precise, and structured. Your work style is characterized by good collaboration skills and a high awareness of quality. The work requires that you can work independently as well as in a team.

You have experience in leading projects and should have worked with statistics and follow-up work. To work with us, analytical ability and good computer skills are required. The section's tasks require flexibility and the ability to work across boundaries.

You can express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You have a good capacity to meet challenges and actively participate in the section's development work. Since the work involves many contact surfaces both internally and externally, good social skills are also required, as you have daily contact with patients, relatives, and healthcare providers. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
