The Northern Gotland School Area includes Fårösundsskolan (Grades F-9), Lärbro School (Grades F-6), Solklintsskolan (Grades F-9), and Fole School (Grades F-6). The area has one principal and two deputy principals. At the schools in the area, we work together to ensure that our students receive a good education, where cooperation between different student groups is a way to increase well-being and security. Your Responsibilities
Your task as a special needs teacher is to add competence to the school's pedagogical work in our co-teaching group, Oasen. You work closely with the school's special needs teachers and special education teachers in the daily student-oriented work. You help create conditions for differentiated instruction to meet the differences and support needs of our students. You provide direct instructional support to individual students or students in smaller groups.
Who are you?
A teaching license with special needs pedagogical competence is a requirement. You have competence in reading, writing, and mathematics learning. Competence in Swedish as a second language is meritorious. We assume that you are well-versed in the curriculum. Knowledge of NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and IF (Individual Educational Plans) is also meritorious. You have experience working as a special education teacher or special needs teacher; experience with a lead teacher assignment in line with special needs interventions is meritorious.
We want you to be a person who is engaged, receptive, and has a positive attitude. You need to have a good ability to inspire and motivate students to learn. It is important that you can collaborate well within the special needs team and with the school's work teams. There is value in your ability to create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. The work requires your ability to be flexible, able to plan, organize, prioritize, and create structure. A prerequisite for the work is an inclusive and relational approach.
Great importance will be attached to personal qualities and suitability.
