Are you our new teacher at Gutegymnasiet?

As a teacher, you will be involved and responsible for teaching on the Technical Program and in combination with the Aesthetic Program. Teaching will be needed at both Year 1 and Year 2 levels. The following subjects are relevant: Programming, Web Development, Digital Creation, Film and TV Production.

The position involves teaching young people based on various regulatory documents, such as the curriculum and subject plans. You plan, conduct, and evaluate your teaching, assign grades, and create a good school environment for students through security and trust.

The position includes mentorship where you are responsible for supporting students during their studies, holding development talks, and contacting guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a teacher and have a teaching license in the subjects Programming, Web Development, Digital Creation, Film and TV Production.

As a person, we are looking for you who are flexible and good at collaborating. You are good at communicating and can inspire both students and colleagues. We want you to enjoy working both independently and in teams.

To succeed in the role, you need to enjoy working with young people and be engaged in their school experience and teaching. We see that you have a good ability to meet each student based on different conditions and needs. You need to be structured and clear while being responsive.

Much of the work takes place together with colleagues, so collaboration and knowledge sharing will be an important part of the daily job.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

About Gutegymnasiet

Gutegymnasiet is an independent upper secondary school within Guteskolan AB. We started in 2007 with only one program and have today grown to offer 10 national programs and 16 specializations. We have 40 employees and approximately 250 students.

Any profit made by Guteskolan AB is fully reinvested into the operations.

At Gutegymnasiet, we have a wonderful mix of both university-preparatory and vocational programs. We also have three introductory programs. This provides a diversity of education, activities, and cultures, making Gutegymnasiet a happy and stimulating learning environment. The atmosphere and mood at the school are relaxed and pleasant, which is one of the reasons why the relationship between teachers and students is so good.

Gutegymnasiet uses block study, which means that students have no more than two subjects per day. The setup resembles that used at universities and colleges and serves as preparation for further studies.

A 6-month probationary period applies.
