We are now looking for a preschool teacher for our preschool area. The preschools in Southern Visby consist of Bogen, Bullerbyn, Korallen, Myran, Torpet, and Ängen. We also have care during inconvenient working hours located in Bogen preschool's premises. The preschools are located in Southern Visby and Vibble. The preschool area is led by a principal, deputy principals, a special needs educator/leadership support, and an administrator.
Your responsibilities
The work consists of systematically planning and developing the pedagogical work together with the work team and other staff, based on the needs of the children's group and the preschool curriculum. As a preschool teacher in the work team, you are expected to lead, conduct teaching, and education based on regulatory documents and Region Gotland's prioritized goals. In your role as a preschool teacher, you make professional pedagogical assessments that have an impact on children's learning and development.
You adapt the activity to both the individual child and the children's group as a whole. Furthermore, you create learning environments that appeal to the children and create opportunities for their learning and development. If you have completed supervisor training for VFU (Field Study Unit), you have the opportunity to supervise students from the preschool teacher program, as four of our preschools are partner preschools. Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher, or alternatively, you are awaiting your preschool teacher license. It is meritorious if you have worked with digital tools. A category B driver's license and a car are required.
You should be flexible and able to adapt to the children's needs and development. You should have a positive, inclusive approach to work. You should have digital competence and also knowledge regarding accessible learning environments, which may involve working with alternative communication.
We see that you have the ability to see opportunities and to have every child's development and learning at the center. The work places demands on your ability to lead and plan the systematic work. You have good cooperation skills and a professional approach towards children, guardians, and colleagues.
