We are now looking for residential support workers for the group home on Nybrovägen in Linköping. We offer training and a developing job where you make a difference! This has been an operation since autumn 2024.
About the group home The group home has 6 places located at Nybrovägen 28 in the district of Harvestad, which is in the southern part of Linköping. The operation is located close to nature but also has proximity to shops and public transport. The operation covers interventions in housing with special services according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and is aimed at people with intellectual disabilities.
About the role In the role of residential support worker, you start from the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with the other 5 employees, you work with the goal of making the day meaningful and content-rich. You support and guide with, among other things, personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, evening time, weekends, and sleeping on-call.
You have a group manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operation. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.
Your experience and knowledge You who apply have a high school education within care and assistance or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience of documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience of working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we give you support and the opportunity to grow.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues and always have our users' best interests as your starting point in everything you do.
At Nytida, we are constantly developing. With us, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is permeated by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.
This is what you get with us:
- Basic training when you are employed permanently at Nytida as well as competence development via our own training organization Lära
- Benefits portal with discounts and offers
- Leadership-trained managers close to you
- A common pedagogy to provide the best care and support for our care recipients
