After School Teacher at Lackarebäcksskolan, Mölndal

Lackarebäcksskolan is a grades F-6 school with approximately 580 students and 3-4 classes per grade, along with age-homogeneous after-school divisions, except for our after-school activity for students in grades 4-6, which has a shared after-school division. Currently, we have a total of approximately 25 employees working in the after-school activity, of whom 8 are certified After School Teachers. We are now looking for 1-2 additional After School Teachers.

Job Responsibilities

As an After School Teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing a meaningful, safe, and stimulating after-school activity in accordance with the curriculum (Lgr22).

You base your work on the students' needs, interests, and experiences and actively work to strengthen their social development, cooperation skills, and sense of responsibility. The role may also include teaching in practical-aesthetic subjects based on your qualifications, where you plan and conduct teaching accordingly. You contribute to creating an accessible and inclusive learning environment where all students are given the conditions to succeed. You work in close collaboration with teachers, colleagues at the after-school center, and other staff, and are an active part of the school's development work.

  • Are a certified After School Teacher.
  • Have the ability to plan and conduct structured and high-quality teaching.
  • Work consciously with language-developing methods and students' social learning.
  • Have clear, secure, and inclusive leadership skills.
  • Are flexible, team-oriented, and actively contribute to collegial learning and school development.

Qualifications

  • Teaching certification with a focus on After School Centers.
  • Knowledge of regulatory documents within After School Centers.
  • Good digital skills.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
