At Unilabs, we combine medical expertise with human care. Through our way of working, we create clear value for both customers and patients. We achieve this through efficient diagnostics, high quality, and first-class service to our patients and customers. We share a common desire to provide the best possible conditions for good care for every individual, and the competence, drive, and engagement of our employees form an important part of the added value we create for society as a whole.
THE ROLE
As a Biomedical Scientist at Unilabs, you work independently with significant personal responsibility while being a vital part of an engaged and competent team. Your main tasks involve analyzing samples and ensuring that accurate results are delivered with high quality and on time. You will also be involved in development and improvement work, where you have the opportunity to influence both work methods and processes.
We value continuous competence development and invest in our employees' learning and growth. Here, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skills and work with varied tasks. By developing versatile employees, we build strong teams and create a work environment characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a shared sense of responsibility where we support each other in daily work.
THE CANDIDATE
At Unilabs, attitude is weighed as heavily as competence. We believe that you, as a person, have strong personal drive and an open, flexible mind with the ability to find new solutions. We also believe that you are social, communicative, and easy to collaborate with, bringing joy to work among your colleagues. We see that you are responsible, work in a structured manner, are stress-resistant, and have a great understanding of the customer's requirements and needs, as well as how the results of our work affect the patient. You strive to meet the team's common quality and delivery requirements, but can also work independently and make your own decisions.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a licensed Biomedical Scientist
- Fluently speaks and writes Swedish.
- Is technically interested, as large parts of production are automated.
Experience in general chemistry, immunology, differential blood counts, or document control/quality work is considered a merit.
THE LOCATION
The position is located in Stockholm at S:t Göran's Emergency Laboratory, operating 24/7, where you will be scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. You will be welcomed as part of the team, consisting of biomedical scientists, biologists, biomedical technicians, molecular biologists, nursing assistants, laboratory assistants, chemists, and doctors.
Our daily operations are conducted with short decision-making paths and team spirit as a fundamental basis, featuring good cohesion and a high level of job satisfaction. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and learn more about what interests you, as well as choose your area of specialization.
APPLICATION
This is a full-time position including evening and weekend shifts. If interested, we welcome your application as soon as possible, and we conduct ongoing interviews. We apply a probationary period.
We look forward to meeting you!
