Among us work nursing assistants and nurses. The business area is also led by nurses. We provide care in several different areas such as internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, geriatrics, and palliative care. We have a total of 360 employees distributed across nine care wards and ASIH (Advanced Home Care), and currently have 173 care beds.

Nurse to Ward E5 Surgery/Gynecology at Södertälje Hospital

Ward E5 is an acute somatic care ward with a surgical focus; we have both acute and elective patient flows. As a nurse, your responsibilities include nursing care for patients with surgical diagnoses. Daily tasks include, among other things, medication administration, ward rounds, documentation, and supervision of students. Interest in technical procedures, such as nutrition via pump, as well as care and control of patients with external drainage connections (EDA), is required.

If you are a newly graduated nurse, we offer you a secure start to your career through introduction and supervision on the ward. As a new graduate, you will also participate in the hospital's New Graduate Program, which combines skills training, lectures, and group discussions. For those with prior experience or as specialist nurses, there are great opportunities to use your knowledge in several different nursing areas with us.

To achieve high quality in our work, we have daily follow-ups and invest heavily in education. Reflection is a natural part of our work and strengthens our team spirit.

Your personal qualities:

We are looking for someone who is positive and flexible in their approach, enjoys pace changes during your work shift, and has the ability to see opportunities. You enjoy working independently but have a strong sense of teamwork. As a person, you are responsible, creative, and have a genuine interest in developing nursing care on the ward.

Employment type:

Fixed-term contract with possibility of extension, full-time. 3-shift system.

As a nurse in 24/7 operations, working time agreements apply with the possibility of staying bonus (in time) and shortened weekly working hours for night work. If you work intensive weekends and more scheduled nights, you also have the opportunity for additional earned time that can be taken as leave, money, or pension contribution.
