We are looking for a colleague for our midwife clinic in Jakobsberg

Jakobsberg Midwife Clinic is part of a Family Centre and part of other development areas in the municipality. Organizationally, we belong to Midwife Clinics Stockholm North within SLSO, which consists of 14 midwife clinics. Currently, 6 midwives work with us at Jakobsberg BMM. We collaborate with our nearby midwife clinics in Kallhäll and Kungsängen, who share the same manager.
The goal of the work at Midwife Clinic North is to provide the right care with a clear focus on our mission in sexual and reproductive health. We work in accordance with the guidelines of our own operations (BMM Stockholm North) and in collaboration with other healthcare providers. Collaboration occurs not only with other operations but primarily within our own organization through close cooperation with our sister clinics. Job Description:
At the clinics, midwives work together with our doctor and the responsible unit manager.
The role involves the midwife primarily caring for the woman, but the professional practice also includes the child, the family, adolescents, young adults, and older women. The work at the clinic covers standard tasks such as pregnancy control, parental support, cervical screening, and both physical and digital visits related to sexual and reproductive health. The work requires broad competence and independence.
Requirements:
- We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights.
- Experience in pregnancy and maternity care as well as contraceptive counseling.
- Experience working in the medical record systems Obstetrix and Take Care.
- Supervisory training is an advantage.
Employment:
Temporary position. Full-time (100%). Working hours Monday–Friday. Probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be reserved for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
In patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines.
- Employees with patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination via occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement applies to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
