About Us

Nordisk Hemservice is a family-owned business established in 2002. The company was founded by sisters Maria Irebro and Marie-Louise Bergqvist. Today, we have approximately 150 employees working in Danderyd, Östermalm, and Södermalm.

Nordisk Hemservice has agreements with the City of Stockholm. In our work, we follow established routines and guidelines along with continuous quality controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in service occupations
• Good knowledge of Swedish (both spoken and written)
• Experience in nursing/care
• Good physical condition as the job involves a lot of walking and lifting heavy objects

Job Responsibilities

Working in home care means you work independently with great responsibility. At the same time, you are part of our team and have daily contact with our customers and their relatives. Your tasks include planning and performing care work in customers' homes, such as:

• Personal care (help with personal hygiene, mobility, dressing).
• Services (cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning, and laundry).
• Accompaniment (accompanying the customer to activities outside the home).

After each visit, you will perform thorough documentation and time registration via a mobile application. You travel between customers on foot, by bicycle, or by car.

Customer visits take place between 07:00–22:00, all year round. We appreciate that you are flexible and can work both day and evening shifts as well as weekends.

We prefer candidates who can work between 70–100 %.
