Sundbyberg Clinic is part of Praktikertjänst, and our premises are located near the beautiful Marabouparken park, a short walk from the local train and commuter rail. We are a team of 30 colleagues, including 4 occupational therapists, providing primary care rehabilitation on behalf of Region Stockholm. With a growing patient base, we need to expand our home rehabilitation team to maintain our highly regarded quality in rehabilitating people in their homes. Therefore, we are looking for a new colleague to welcome and introduce to our wonderful home rehab team. At Sundbyberg Clinic, we have two operational managers who maintain close dialogue with our employees. We have good collaboration with nearby health centers and home care services.

Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist in primary care, you will meet a variety of patients of different ages with different ailments and backgrounds. The position involves home rehabilitation, where you, as an occupational therapist, play a crucial role in the patient-centered team to create safe and high-quality care. If you enjoy great variety and a mobile work environment, this is for you. You will work both individually and in a team with physiotherapists and sometimes dietitians. You will work with experienced colleagues who are happy to share their experiences when a colleague needs advice and support. You will conduct assessments in the patient's home environment. You will prescribe assistive devices, participate in certificates for housing adaptations, contribute to dementia investigations, and mentor people close to the patient, among other tasks.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Experience in primary care and home rehabilitation is an advantage.
• Experience with the medical record system TakeCare is an advantage.
