Who are we?

Ektorpsringen is the central school in the Ektorp district. We are a school under construction and from autumn onwards, we will be a two-stream F-6 school (grades 1-6). The school premises are well adapted to the operations and were inaugurated in 2019.

At our school, the values base is central to all our work. We strive for every student to succeed in their education by aiming for high goal fulfillment. We work to support students' abilities and knowledge development based on individual prerequisites. To support this work, we use clear structures for the design and content of lessons. Our goal is for all students to develop as much as possible.

We are now looking for you who are qualified to teach Social Studies (SO) in grades 4-6, as one of our teachers will be on parental leave.

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating Social Studies (SO) teaching for intermediate school students. You have primary responsibility for SO teaching in all grades and classes at the intermediate level. Part of the role may also involve co-teaching with other colleagues.

Together with your colleagues in the work team, you drive development to ensure that our intermediate school students get the best possible conditions for learning.

Regular pedagogical conferences and work team meetings are held at the school, where you are an active participant and contribute to the school's common goals.

Values-based work is ongoing at the school, and you are expected to be an active participant and contribute to implementing and maintaining this work.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher for Social Studies (SO) in grades 4-6. You have experience teaching at the intermediate level and previous experience working with students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPF). You are well-versed in the school's governing documents, and since you are to work to ensure students have good language development, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are reliable and meet the requirements and expectations set, and you take responsibility for your performance. You set high quality standards for yourself and those around you. You are also open to new ideas and working methods.

Furthermore, you easily create good relationships and collaborate with those you meet in your work, where your focus is always on the student's best interest. You convey information clearly and securely, adapt your language to the recipient, and ensure that everyone understands. In this way, you build trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.

You are flexible and can easily adapt when necessary. In stressful situations, you can maintain your calm.
