Torsby Municipality is now looking for an engaged and driven Project Manager for the Swedish-Norwegian Interreg project STAR. The project is carried out in cooperation with Torsby Municipality, Malung-Sälen Municipality, Grue Municipality, and Åsnes Municipality, with the aim of strengthening competence, collaboration, and development in rural areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Project Manager, you are responsible for leading and coordinating the STAR project together with the project's cooperation partners in Sweden and Norway.

Your main tasks are to:

  • Plan, implement, and follow up on the project's activities.
  • Coordinate the project's work together with project managers and cooperation partners in the participating municipalities.
  • Be responsible for the project's reporting, documentation, and presentation.
  • Build and develop networks with companies, organizations, and associations in the area.
  • Drive development efforts that strengthen competence and growth in the countryside.
  • The role involves many contact surfaces and requires that you enjoy creating relationships, collaborating, and driving processes forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

  • Have experience in project work, preferably within EU-funded projects.
  • Are social, proactive, and have a great interest in development issues.
  • Have good ability to collaborate and create engagement among different actors.
  • Have good knowledge of the area around Sysslebäck and surroundings, which is an advantage.
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish and Norwegian.
  • Hold a B driver's license.
  • We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start: ASAP. By agreement, ends: 2029-01-31.
Working hours: Daytime.

The workplace is primarily in Sysslebäck. Travel is part of the job.
